Dry Needling
Massage therapists, physiotherapists and medical doctors are using dry needling effectively and extensively throughout the world today. Originally doctors used needles to inject analgesics into painful areas, but it became clear that it was the stimulation of the needle itself and not the substance injected that gave the pain relief. Hence the term – dry needling!
- Pain free acupuncture needles
- Great for areas of spasm / tightness
- Effective treatment of painful areas
- Deep muscular aches and unresolved pains
Trigger Point Release
Myofascial trigger point pain is a common muscular disorder. Conditions such as headaches, sciatica, knee pain and shoulder pain can be resolved by treating trigger points in muscles, either with ischemic manual pressure or using acupuncture needles to release the area of pain.
Sports Strapping
Injured? Sporting event around the corner?
Traditional athletic tape can be used to bind and restrict an injured joint, or used to correct poor postural habits preventing further injury. Kinesiology tape is used to support muscles and tendons to speed recovery
